I said what I said to make a point, and that is that there are types and levels of help, and not everyone provides the same kind of help. You know the old saying, "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for life."

Seeking God, and specifically meditation directed toward that goal, lifts the world--brings it a little bit closer to not having to exist anymore. The physical plane, that is... There is a bigger picture, and this picture as I see it is that it's better to show someone the way out of the world for good, than any other form of help, however worthy they are of it. We're all doing what we can, what we are pulled to do, what we came here to do. There is no choice, there is no free will, other than apparent free will, that can change our destiny in this life. All we can do is try not to create any more of the kind of karma that brings us back here, or brings others back here.
