I'm glad to hear you take a wider view than I had thought from your previous posts. We're all entitled to our particular favorites whatever they may be. I didn't intend to suggest you were an elitist, just that I identify the idea that the 19th C was the crowning achievement in music with a particular set of class and political attitudes here in the US. May be different in the UK.
