I think you are trying to confuse inspiration with the common understanding of "channeling".
I did state that music that many composers compose originates in higher planes and yes, there is the question of Muses but when people think of channeling, it's associated with esoteric knowledge, not music.
A musician is a conduit or channel for what he communicates but these are gifted people who are called to the purpose, rather than individuals who try and find a way through occult knowledge and arcane meditiation. Anyone can try to be a medium or channeler and many succeed but their success is always very limited, which is why they never composed great music!
