I understand fanatic as uncompromising, as a choice not an insult, someone who believes that the bible is the word of god, period. If you think like I do that although it may be more or less "inspired" but it still is the work of the human mind then you automatically become more skeptical: how much of it is inspiration, and how much is human invention?
