I have come to the same conclusion that the Four Beasts around the throne of God are represented by the Cardianal points of the Zodiac.

Actually, I may say it differently to be exact by saying that I believe the four points of the Zodiac actually represent the Four Beasts. I also don't see anything "Pagan" in this. Primordial and Divine Beings exist in their own right.

"Paganism", in my intuition, centres around the belief that the Serpent is equal to or superior than God.

These are just my personal thoughts and hope I made sense!
