Well rambling, erm, no, maybe a bit sad approach.
The 2000 years of suppression are there but, to me, should also be seen in a much wider scenery. One can ponder why it was needed, this long endurence.
Power mad priests are indeed the downfall of alot of things but not really central in my "quest".
