He spoke in parables to the public and gave his initiates the true meaning and all the secrets he had. Read the Gospel of Thomas--"The Secret Sayings of Jesus".
And he directed his initiates:
"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you." Matthew 7:6
Now what do you suppose THAT meant?
Here's the thing--you complain about people keeping secrets, but I have said things on this site that were once considered deep secrets and you don't believe them anyway... Your mind is immovable unless the "secret" conforms to your pre-set conditions. All the "secrets" are now available to anyone who wants them. But obviously, not everyone does want them and that's because they are not quite ready for them. "When the student is ready, the teacher appears." A cliche, but true...
