A sort of back-handed compliment , I suppose, but which misses the point! The idea of the words 'winning' or 'losing' entering into a discussion is completely absent from my thoughts. it's the discussion between the start and the tail-off of a topic that is always of interest. I have never been concerned about winning or losing anything. I wasn't useless at sports, but knew I'd never win a race or a tennis match; I just enjoyed taking part! I tended to win at board and card games because they suited me, but was quite happy to lose games.Quote
and that's where you win
big time, Susan.
Why would anyone even think of such a question when we are on a discussion forum? Perhaps you could have a try at explaining your comment!Quote
