You should by now know that I do read all posts - unless I state otherwise - and simply chose, unsurprisingly, to make a brief comment.

As a matter of interest, I was out in town this morning and a gentleman, who used to be the chair of a discussion group I attended for many years (until it became narrowed down only to local political problems, when I left). Since then, whenever he saw me, he tried to get me back as he valued my clear views and ability to be detached when necessary - oh, and by the way, all religious topics were banned - Anyway, he came over to say hello - people have to do that because they know I cannot recognise anyone - and stopped for a chat, knowing he'd get an interesting, if short, conversation!! And whether you believe this or not, I was actually a pretty good teacher!
