Gerda, I can hardly believe that a child could be esteemed as "horrible" or "nasty". My dearly beloved sister, most of the time that we shared as adults, was my best friend during adulthood. Her childish young behavior was no more worse than my childish behaviors. I liked "trashing" things; you know---destruction. My mother said that I threw things over the balcony railing, watching them fall!! Actually, that was really bad, I know!!!

At least I remember that particular motivation; watching things fall and crashing.

My sister was, as an adolescent, mean to me, BUT ONLY BY THE WORDS SHE SPOKE. There was no punching, etc.

So I had to grow up and face ridicule and criticism from others, because I was selfish-really!! Obviously, I had to outgrow the "teasing" and harsh words (as well as from others, too).

Our relationship was actually reasonably good when we were adults. I miss her since she passed away 7 years ago.
