Yes. Paul Tillich said "the ground of being" in his book, "The Courage to Be". It is listed in the index at the back of the book. It's been a long while since I read it. I will have to reread it.
"The ground of being as source of the courage to be....courage to be as key to the ground of being".
Simply, the circle is that with the ground of being one gains a particular courage wrought by the MEANING of that very ground. It is the LIFE doing all it can to be courageous in every situation that arises. And, by DOING everything one can and will, can produce courage and more courage as one pursues each and every life experience BECAUSE of that courage developing within one's very being.
