Getting back to your question and analysis, I'd be willing to share the following: as a Christian, I believe that God created everything--including life on earth. That's easy. As a scientist, however, I'm not convinced that creationism is the right answer--or that creation of life is even the right question.
Scientists have been more concerned about the transitions from species to species--especially the"upward" transitions to Homo Sapiens. That's been a key bugaboo going all the way back to Darwin:
