Serious science does not make such claims. Any scientist who does attempt to make such a claim is probably trying to sell some fringe science book!!Quote
But I am certain of this, no one can possibly know everything about space, time, and all of the other things that science claims to know, at this point in time.
I have no idea of what ALL of what you believe might be - ony what you have written in GH. One of the most important things in life is to be able to separate fact from fiction and enjoy both.Quote
Mrs. Susan maybe right... Maybe all of what I believe is fantasy.
There seems to be an implication of some mystical God/spirit/etc here. forget it!!!Quote
Maybe everyone on here, unless they believe as she does, is dillusional. I honestly don't know. But I do believe that we are created in one way or another.
Well in that case you are ignoring one of the best researched, best checked, consistently central and basic, along with its various internal improvements and changes, /Theories known to Science.Quote
I'm not positive about evolution. I just believe that we haven't evolved.
There is not a single shread, iota or smidgeon of evidence to even begin to give any credit to such a completely wrong idea.Quote
I believe that we have devolved.
That was an idea that was current some years ago, but has since, fortunately, been allocated to junk thinking rather than junk brain cells!Quote
But I do believe that we have access to the rest of our brain that science says that we don't have the ability to use.
Yes, each individual is unique. The genetic code, DNA and chromosomes have been detected, examined and analysed and is the 'nature' part of nature and nurture. These individual characteristics have been called 'gifts' and for thousands of years have been thought to have been bestowed on people by gods. However, science is now well ahead of such thinking and even religious leaders have to acknowledge that nature has the answers.Quote
I also believe that we are all different with different gifts.
I am sad to hear that your religious faith doctrine has been so deeply indoctrinated into you, however caringly it might have been done.Quote
Some of us even have visions and science nor drugs can help with these! And one of the only ways to find the Lord is to seek him and admit to your sins, becoming like a child.
think carefully - how much of those beliefs have come from the words and thoughts of other people. The problem comes when people believe the ideas etc come direct from some invisible, undetectable, fantasy force!!Quote
My beliefs mainly from my experiences but also from the Bible and also from things that I have translated and only make sense through the ancient alien theory.
Certainly not! The very fact that you are thinking about your beliefs and are prepared to bring them here to discuss has, I hope, put you on the track to the exciting real world, the world of reality.Quote
But then again, maybe I'm just crazy... Lol
