Jim, it is always a primary education to listen to you. Perhaps my now established preference for the Tao Te Ching, is to be my path of reconciliation. It has NO NAMES to pray to or to chant in mantra style. It is mysterious, yet approachable. I cannot tolerate confusion from words, wherever they come from. Mine must be as forthright as brushing my teeth. To practice a Mystery-hunt is to have a joy unbounded by rituals or confessions or contingencies of behaviors that don't edify me. I like a challenge, because the Tao is difficult to uncover the true wisdom that it has. It is one man's vision, but how wise that man was to edify the masses of seekers to not belittle themselves with words that compromise one's value and innate goodness.
The Tao accomplishes much that I will continue to search.
Thanks for letting me share.
Tom.
