Hi Susan, I suggest reading Barbara Thiering’s books, “John, the Book Jesus Wrote”. Or “Jesus the Man”. Her theory is that Jesus survived the crucifixion and worked with John Mark to produce the Gospel of John. Even though we can’t absolutely prove it, I think that Dr.Thiering is probably right.
