One of the things which I think is among the hardest for Christians and others from exclusive proselytizing religions to understand is that their path is NOT the right path for everyone. In fact, it might be impossible for a practicing Christian to understand that others are not wrong to follow a path other than Christianity.

Built within the exclusive proselytizing religions is the axiom that the religion is the one unique path and any other path is wrong. If a person accepts that premise, then a different path being the correct one for a different person produces an inherent dilemma. And a Christian who wishes to maintain their faith has to maintain that their Christian path is correct and every other path is wrong.

So my analysis leaves me seeing the Christian unable to understand how others are correct in following another path, and anyone who CAN understand how others are correct in following another path not able to satisfy the requirements to be considered a Christian.

I'm so very glad I just decided decades ago to believe what I found believable and let the rest fall where it may.
