The stoned monkey is a palatable explanation for the original experience of God. Now, being stoned may actually be delusional, yet the outcome was that a knowledge of God came about by altered senses and a mental enlightenment due to the "magic" plant that invoked a God into the mind of said monkey (more like cromagnon man).

That formal introduction MAY have been God or it was the monkey's first time realizing the Greatness of all things with a central character invoked by that magic plant. It is said that the plant "speaks" to the ingester of said plant. Of course this may SOUND like woo-woo, but if one has never ingested such a plant then they have no recourse to avoid the outcome of that ingestion. It is still subjective, yet with a twist; the God-state of mind remains and lasts a lifetime.

So, any realization induced or not is the most generic evidence that SOMETHING GREAT has awaked a part of the psyche to KNOW God as the reality of that very personal and common experience. It must be both to be GENUINE. God will not waste a mind on only a personal experience; there must be a second or third witness, especially if the same method is required to access God by the magic plant method. Naturally, the modern access is through the words of God, for words induce a potential presence if that person is so inclined to PERCEIVE God.

This is why I contemplate all that I know to be true, with a twist.
