You can speculate about horror or fear if you like, but no, I have neither of those! I am the same as I have always been - confident without being overly so, so that I have never been nervous going into any company or situation. * That is why I managed to cope with and come through the years of marriage. I made friends, long-lasting friends, who toldme me later that they would have liked to know me better, but they couldn't stand my husband!
*I went to London on Wednesday as I had organised a meeting of 12 of us 'old girls' from school and one of them mentioned that I was the one who had no difficulty copingng with things. I was not[/I[] the central, popular one, but was the one they'd say, 'We'll ask Susan, she'll know.'
