Take the modern FACT of the Internet and all smartphones, whatever else also. All of these individual contrivances are connected to a vast network, a collective. The Bible says "look at the ants..." The ants are biological individuated units that are connected together, hence, the large force of units(ant) can communicate successfully through a biological INTERFACE, namely their antennae that is chemically sensitive to their surroundings and each other.
