I don't know anything about the OCT related literature beyond what I've read on this site. I do go back to the times when Robert Bauval was still participating, so I know that a literature exists beyond his books.
I've read several of Jason Colavito's "debunkings" and tried to follow his sources--and I don't trust him. I'd trust Rocky Colovito (the former baseball star) before I trust Jason. He's a graduate of Ithaca College that never managed to find his way up the hill to the fine graduate library at Cornell.
One needs to be deeply familiar with the older literature in multiple languages for competent reviews of these issues--and the literature exists. I've seen some of it in the stacks at Cornell and at the Huntington Library near Cal Tech. I just don't believe that Jason has ever read any of this foundational material. I don't believe that he has credentials that would convince me he could read and understand the literature even if they ever let him in the library.
One of these days, Jason needs to sit down and debunk himself.
