Presumably you are referring to actual verifiable testing of the person and brain reactions during such things asmeditation, which means of course the scientists involved are dealing in reality, with an aim to achieve objective and useful results, thus increasing knowledge and understanding of the functions of the brain?Quote
There have been some very interesting advances in neuroscience regarding spiritual experiences too. Monks and clergy in meditation that sort of thing. It's very early, and will be interesting to see where this leads.
