This generalization raises a further question to me. Were certain texts, like Micah, for example, included because they correlated to the Bethlehem-Jesus narrative AND because they were regarded as reliable text (by the Jewish community, I presume). Or, were they included ONLY because of the former?
The first link you provide suggest that various non OT texts were excluded because of their non-reliability.

Personally, I found the book of Enoch interesting. I'm not familiar with most of the other excluded texts. I'll take a look at the other books you mentioned, maybe scoop one or both from Amazon. I'm craving paper material these days. My ebook days are over.
