The Void is aptly named. I have a Buddhist book called The Ceasing of Notions. It goes all through a disciple's efforts to UNDERSTAND emptiness. Finally, the disciple can reason no more. Then the Master says that the lesson is complete. The truth is that every person experiences the Void during deep sleep. It is also the reason that REM sleep is sometimes disturbing and we wake up to a distressing dream. It is the opposite of deep, peaceful sleep.
Basically, the stories of ancient days is pure speculation; even dogma is suspect especially if it is literalism. I read most of the Bible years ago. I, at that time, studied according to a routine and curious condition. But MY LIFE was strewn with unanswerable questions due to both my mindstate and my experiences. I could not connect the dots. So I stretched out beyond the limitations and discovered unknown treatises that left me with more questions. Perhaps today I am more settled than ever before. Youth is gone, sophistry is contained in CHECK (perpetually). Life is stable and people are feeding my spirit nonetheless.
The virtue of a highly evolved being embraces all people and things and dispels the darkness which isolates them.
Hua Hu Ching-primary lesson.
