You know Susan, first off, I respect your self-engaging promise to NOT ALLOW children to be derailed in their developing years. Good. But I am going to be 65 this year. I remember when my mother said to me, her youngest child, that she was "waiting to die" a few years before she actually succumbed to IT while in her mid 90's.

You are at least two decades older than I. Now, for me, I am tired of working a full 40-hour week and hope to work less time now that I can claim Social Security.

What I'm getting at is that you MUST have your debilitating thoughts about the facts of your age and life. I know how tough it is to grow old and don't expect to make it to 80 (a man's perogative). I know how TIRED feels like and expect no change in that.

What I'm getting at is that the older we humans get, the less we want ADVENTURE and CHAOS. I really do UNDERSTAND IT. So, to let it pass beyond the cares of the world, I conjecture that there is a bit of uncaring and stubborness in our old age. That is the VAST difference we have to accept compared to our younger years.

Any thing you say to me is ROTE, not INSPIRATION. I allow that and even congratulate it. I just don't care any more. Period!!

This forum is nice but that quickly turns to a pie-throwing contest real quick around here. I actually do like that.

The fun begins when several people "bargain" their wisdom for acceptance. Fooey!!! Who needs acceptance. I know all about myself, but I don't know ENOUGH about others. So I bide my time, patiently.

I am a watcher: I see what provokes a discussion here, some times losing the very topic of the OP. Wasn't it about the age of the Moon? How far have we travelled here?

Anyways, I think it is hilarious and sad. That's right, a dichotomy. I participate only if I MUST elaborate my thoughts. Don't even TRY your LOGIC. I know enough about people IN GENERAL to pass on to better things in my life.

Your welcome.

Tom

PS. This is JUST AN OBSERVATION, not a critique. I've been here over two years and have seen enough to "GET IT". IT IS DISCUSSION, not a popularity poll.

You should dissolve all discrimination of individuality and absorb all things into a harmonious oneness.
The virtue of a highly evolved being embraces all people and things and dispels the darkness which isolates them.

Hua Hu Ching-primary lesson.
