Another verse that has me thinking this might be Thomas is 15
Jesus said: When you see him who was not born of woman, fall down upon your faces and worship him; that one is your Father.
Is this an allusion to virgin birth? If so, from what I gather it runs contrary to what the gnostics believe (but I may be wrong). The use of "Father" is problematic to me however, given my understanding of Jesus' use of the term.
Another variation I see working, potentially, is if this is an allusion to the the nothingness of Buddhism or the Hindu Brahman - unborn entity from which all things are said to proceed.
