I subscribe, rather loosely, to the concept of self-control.
Proverbs-"A man who controls himself is greater than a man who takes a city".
Again, loosely, as I also am capable of "taking offense" with another's commodities of thought. We all think alternatively, and that can be a temptation to be angry. That's alright.
The trick is to consider the validity of others viewpoints. It is possible to consider that "teaching" as valuable, if you will. After all, not every teaching is accommodating to oneself, yet agreeableness is a spiritual practice that requires at least a place of possibility to do such things.
I am still learning to accomodate other peoples conceptions, even when it is distasteful to myself.
Best of grace!!
The virtue of a highly evolved being embraces all people and things and dispels the darkness which isolates them.
