Hi Naveen
You are right. This sub chat, which I am greatly enjoying, is going in many directions - all good and validating! Let me make one thing you said here the focus...
"Yes, that occurred to me too and yet there seems to be a slight difference.
It's rather subtle and I find it hard to put it into the right words.
If I would use the word "Calling" then I would mean: "Me" Calling me.
In your case do you mean: God Calling you? And if so, is this God then outside you; inside you or a part of you (v.v.)? I consider my intuition as one of my human functions on a more inner or higher level. But not (yet?) on a divine level. That state of consciousness (God, Divinity, the Absolute)seems still farther away (higher, more inner). Only if you can truely say: "I am God" then things fall into place. It was my impression, that you make a separation between yourself and the place that the "Calling" is coming from. Maybe this is my mistake? "
In the most extreme context I would say that your description is the most correct way of putting this matter. However, as I experience this incarnation I greatly prefer to think of myself in the mortal context, which tends to be the part of me with which I most strongly identify (by far). That part of me is human, flawed, extremely limited in awareness, and prone to ranting on occasion.
From this mortal pov intuitions can certainly seem like Callings, in part because the "Higher Self" is so extraordinarily greater by comparison. Difficult for me to think if myself in such terms when daily I misplace my car keys etc etc etc...I accept this existential paradox and embrace the other reality it implies , that there is an absolute difference between PB and God.
Complicating matters further is the possibility that, at times, we may be Called or Invited to do things that are asked of us by other spiritual beings whose individual essences, while coming from the same singularity, are nonetheless not us in the individual context!
So, maybe this is an individual choice, Naveen, how one characterizes one's self definition, and the language is reflected accordingly. At this time I prefer to align my identify with my mortal identity in these discussions - a set of conditions from which I couldn't entirely escape anyway - noting how these episodes and experiences affect my human self. Maybe that will change further down the road, if and when I see my divine aspect becoming ascendant (again).
In the meanwhile, Naveen, a most warmhearted Namaste!
