For all that is Scientifically related to Cosmology and Space. (NB: Please take discussions about UFOs, possible Alien contact, Crop-Circles, Alien Abductions, Planet-X and Niburu to the ‘Paranormal and Supernatural’ Message Board).
Colourful discussions abound in this subject...here's a question for the board:
Given that species do evolve to varying degrees, in response to changes in their environment (physical and behavioural changes, as well as geographical-environmental adaptations included), or leave the historical/fossil records;
And given that changes also occur due to directed and accidental manipulation (factors outside the purely natural processes, such as breeding control, genetic modification by design[in the very modern era]);
How does one distinguish between the two forces in the paleontological, anthropological, and historical past?
Curious to hear the views on this.
