Hi Brad,

That was a great picture of M81 on your post, abeit in the HI alpha emission spectra.

To me, the result is the same, whether optically or otherwise.

Perhaps slightly off-topic, I find such pictures very astonishing, from a contemplative point of view.

According to Sagan...and on this I am sure he was right, there are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on all the beaches of the Earth.

I think the same also applies to the numbers of galaxies.

In other words, for every human being who has ever lived, in recorded history and much more before and to come, there is not only a star, but I think an entire galaxy that can be representative of that individuals' entire existance.

This I think (at least numbers-wise) is unquestionable.

Further, by the sheer extension and realisation of the indeterminable numbers involved with galaxies, indeed galaxy clusters, each can account for an individual ever born, living or dead.

So it will always be.

Isn't the universe astonishing!

The more they find, the more there will be.

Reflected in nature?
