Yep yep, sure seems like odd timing to me. What I find is rather sad is that now that Bush has such big plans, shuttle maintenance for the Hubble telescope has been discontinued. It's predicted to survive maybe 5 years more without maintenance and then it'll be gone to us. So, his improbable mars/moon plan that is just a ploy to get re-elected is going to end up ruining the telescope that has shown the world so much including the latest ultra deep field from the edges of the universe.

Good game, Bush. He's a dork. :(
