Gravity waves or gravitational waves? Let's get our terminology correct here, folks. Are we supposed to take seriously something an author can't even get right?
But SO WHAT? Einstein thought gravitational waves would never be discovered because they were so small we'd never be able to measure them--not that they didn't exist. And it doesn't matter anyway. General relativity predicts them. Period.
