See, that's what I was trying to get to. I truly think it is. In societies such as ancient Egypt, there was not this total oppression of women. In fact Isis was probably worshipped equally in terms of spritiual significance. They got past the gender differences and allowed both sexes to contribute equally within the society (and then made huge pyramids that baffle us to this day). This allowed the society to maximize its potential within the given environment.
Those types of societies created works in which we still are learning from. The societies that are causing the most probelms for humankind on the planet today are the ones who continue to live under the illusion of gender superiority. Those which are preventing their female population from being involved in the decisions of their society are producing women who would rather kill other peoples babies then raise their own. As harsh as that may sound, that's what it has come down to.
Once this is no longer an issue, and the best and brightest of our planet can truly make their greatest contribution to our societies in an unlimited and a freely competitive way, we will put an end to unecessary violence and subjugation.
But not until then.
Until then, the force that leans towards giving each individual the most rights and responsibilities, will continue to be hindered by the repressive shackles of historical and evidential ignorance.
Or something like that..........:)
