Mitch confirmed a couple of times in that interview that the Senate is leaving the trial process in the hands of White House lawyers. Which means that the verdict is in - no removal of the President - and the President's lawyers are currently drawing up a witness list.

Yay!

A "proper" trial.

And Mitch was chuffed that President Trump was so helpful with his new book, "The Long Game" - a fitting title to this whole affair. The Democrats, having fired all their ammunition and gotten nowhere, are now going to be on the receiving end.

This is going to be fun.

More embarrassment for the failed political commentators coming up.
