An attorney on the radio attorney who was a former Federal prosecutor pointed out Cohen's 19 hours of testimony is in all probability a sign the Mueller team didn't believe him. Gee go figure. Ha ha
Normally a cooperating witness testimony takes only a few hours ( max of 8 hours in complex cases ). But someone they don't believe is being truthful would be interviewed over and over again at different times posing questions differently checking for consistency . Evidently Cohen's answers changed or weren't consistent which necessitated 19 hours. In the end though they found Cohen was willing to agree with a plea deal which served both sides.
He also pointed out the NYSD didn't aid the investigation releasing Cohen's plea deal prior to the judge's ruling on Flynn. The obvious flaws in the Cohen case could influence the Flynn judge ruling against Mueller. From what he explained the judge has the right to see the original 302's and be given the supporting info requested for the original and the one from Aug 2017. He also questioned, as I have, that the conversation as presented took place at all or was different then presented by either the two agents or someone else higher in the chain.
Here is an interesting article concerning Flynn...[www.realclearpolitics.com]
Quote from source...""I would not be surprised a bit that the conviction of Flynn is overturned because of the Justice Department and the FBI's misconduct, and that, in fact, we go potentially all the way to Supreme Court with new protections when the FBI and the Department of Justice lies to somebody and tricks them into making statements, and then charges them with a lie that they entrapped them in," Issa said.
