I think one difference besides the tax base between the US and I assume England is that we have redundant infrastructure already in place when it comes to health care facilities and diagnostic equipment.
I really can’t see a reason why there would be a long wait unless there’s a personnel shortage or too much red tape. Either way it would be fixable while those who can afford better care than the basic plan will always be able to find it. That’s the American way.
Unfortunately, the people who oppose it demand a perfect system straight out of the box and will refuse to make adjustments when needed as was the case with Obama Care.
- Funny that the Affordable Care Act was labeled Obama Care because the Rep’s figured to use it to bury him as a one term president.
Now of course they prefer it be called the ACA.
