Have you seen the reports which show that the armoured vehicles have the EU insignia on the side? No wonder the EU are pushing so hard for this. Foreign mercenaries are far more likely to be willing to shoot out the eyes of protestors than a member of the countries own military/police forces.

This is not about gas taxes...although they certainly play a part.
