To summarise - PV created an early thread about the stockholm car murders.
He doesn't call it an act of terror but links to those that call it a terrorist attack and questions an "open door" policy.
This doesn't get traction so he put graphic images directly onto the board visible and without warnings.( I believe, I didn't see them before action was taken)
This creates complaints and is separately amended by the moderators.
This probably breaks rules, ( may not in the context it was put up) it might be trolling for reaction ( might not)
some posters see this differently to others. I quoted that if it was a link without a warning then minor, if it was directly pictured on the site then probably offensive as I could put up loads of pictures of dead wedding parties, palestinian kids, and the hundreds of civilians that were killed on St Patrick's day in Mosul ( but not mentioned on the board.)
Some posters complained about the graphical POST!!
Given previous history PV may have also been personally cited as to why the post was particularly offensive, IE the reasoning behind the graphic imagery, given that PV himself has admitted to deliberately putting up contentious posts during the election this is understandable.
To cut a long story short, the post was amended, the poster has agreed that he should have been a touch more circumspect and no action was taken,
Can we please leave it there, Dane and Eli you are creating a thread that had almost as many views as the Mod warning emails with levels of intricacy and detail, hyphens, incorrect quotations, half truths, mis-communication misreads etc that have killed the original thread.
I'd rather talk about likelihood that this and the UK attacks had nothing to do with ISIS but were more personally related to their circumstances and they used ISIS as hook on which to hang their hatred.
We are in a strange place when both the injured country and ISIS want to claim any attack was officially from ISIS when in most probability it's a drugged up failure that doesn't even follow a religion but wants to make a mark.
There is nothing yet that links the UK or the Sweden car attacks directly to ISIS in any way.
