Could The Ankh represent ...

Hi all since I believe that the gods who carried the ankh were the planets do you think it is possible that the ankh represents their elliptical orbit ?

If not why is a sandal strap a better and more logical choice ?

This would mean that whenever we see a God with an ankh we could assume it was an celestial body of some type, be it a planet, comet or moon or whatever.
