The point is that some members wanted a place to discuss Historical topics, but there didnt seem to be a board to do this with. For example, where does one conduct a discussion upon Napoleons campaigns, or World War I for example. Where does one discuss the tudor kings, or Louis XIIII? Troubles in Ireland? American Wild West? Venice during the Renaisance?

So regardless who writes the history, there is still something to discuss, and now it has a home for discussion. As a member you are free to contribute or ignore the board entirely.
