Yes, this was avery annoying 'ommission' by the NIO. Your vital contribution and involvement in making this discovery was crucial, and it was bad form, to say the least, for the NIO not mentioning your name at least.
But why am I not surprised?... It reminds me of when Egyptologists Kate Spence and Toby Wilkinson came up in 1999 with all the 'stellar theories' for the Giza pyramids. Also when recently in Egypt, I came across the book on the Pyramids by the Czech Egyptologist Miroslav Verner (published in English in March 2002 'Pyramids'), where he makes clear reference to my discoveries of the alignment of the QC shafts to Sirius and Kochab but with no mentioning at all of my name. He even (erroneously) claims that Osiris was identified to the star Alnitak!! But no problemo, I will deal with this 'poor show' attitude by our academic friends in my next book, Egypt Decoded.
But meanwhile please don't let these guys spoil your well-deserved recognition. The British Press hopefully will put things straight.
Well done GH.
