I was just wondering if anybody posted this over at Ma'at MB being how they said that Mr. Hancock has been wrong on every theory he brings up and that the ruins were just natural formations and they were certain that Mr. Hancock would be proven wrong! I think it would be good for those that are so self-centered egotists to eat a little crow or foot! Just a thought.
Rest assured it's been picked up over at Ma'at. The general consensus (okay, that's perhaps a 'little' exaggerated, seeing as most message boards never seem to reach any kind of consensus) is that GH deserves credit - to a greater or lesser extent, depending on who you're listening to - for his instrumental role in organising the diving expedition to South India. That's certainly my opinion, at least.
As for your point about the ruins being just "natural formations", I think you're possibly getting confused between Poompuhar (the U-shaped structure) and Mamallapuram/Mahabalipuram, the site referred to by GH and the NIO above (GH had previously dived on the U-shaped structure at Poompuhar - as soon in the TV series - but nobody had made a concerted effort to dive at Mamallapuram prior to GH's recent trip).
