I have to agree with Bradmandu's thinking. But, that's not to say that there may well be more to our past than we have so far discovered. Certainly we have no definite proof that it is 100 % certain that the text books have got it all correct, and maybe the likes of Graham Hancock may indeed be pointing to enough uncertainties to make us all think again - however distasteful that may be to established thinking.
Time will tell.
