Nice reply - I won't even bother to dispute your claims as your argument is rooted in a ridiculous counter argument.
All I will say is that 1-2hrs surfing on the internet can generate enough evidence to dispute any one of the theories you quote in your books. What does that say about your extensive research?
Considering that your main opponents are academics (and now the BBC) who only suggest that if you should doubt any of this you should spend a few hours conducting your own research. Whereas in order to agree with your claims you have to believe in a conspiracy theory against you. What would seem the most likely to you?
Let your readership decide for themselves but if you ask me the vultures are circling.
Dr Winston O'Boogie
PS Hope you appreciated the comments from Owen Gingerich (Nature 408, 297-298). I quote (for the benefit of those unable to obtain a copy) 'Could this be an echo of Kochab and Mizar making their alignment rounds? Be on the look out, Egyptologists, for any such obscure hints.'
