Spence has used archaeoastronomy to accurately date the construction of the Giza pyramids by star alignments. The date she has determined for the construction of Khufus pyramid is 2478 BC (with an accuracy of 5 years plus/minus). Is that even close to Hancocks/Bauvals suggested date for the construction of the Giza pyramids of 10,500 BC? Or does it sound a little closer to the orthodox opinion suggesting a date of the middle of the 3rd millenium BC?
Let me just state one has been published in a scientific peer reviewed journal the others have been included in a number of wishy washy tales of mystery including one suggesting there are pyramids on Mars.
I'll let you decide and await with great anticipation the 'spin' Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval can put on this one.
