Maybe if the map of Piri Reis and a modern map of Antartica (with and without ice layer) were put over eachother we would clearly see how (in)accurate it really is?
One argument put forward in the website proposed by Eyeswideshut is that there are multiple ancient maps showing Antartica. Could be...but what actually proves this?
