AFAIK, there is no ‘ancient metres 3.3 feet’.]
I once fell down several steps at a place I was staying in Tonga as it was very dark and there was no rail to hold.
The next morning I commented on this and was told, 'Don't worry about it'.
So Robin don't concern yourself about ancient metres it will be ok.
