It wasn't any sinister trap to lead you to announce what would constitute
"indisputable evidence" that I already possess.
It also wasn't necessarily a statement of belief that comprehensive evidence or reason
has already provided.
THE POINT WAS AND IS!
That you yourself do not know what you are looking for, and cannot describe in any way
what form this "indisputable evidence" would take.
It is to highlight that you challenge information provided here regularly, asking for
things such as "hard evidence", "indisputable evidence" , "compelling evidence"
but you are unable yourself to imagine what that might look like even if it were to be provided.
You fail ,in some sort of brain lock or obsession, to realise there are some things
for which only corroborating, circumstantial, or written evidence, CAN exist!
If you were on a Science forum, limited to high school level, you could demand
irrefutable evidence eg that Water is made up of Hydrogen and Oxygen.
However, you are not dealing with such subjects.
Closer to the point re our discussion. There is considerable reason to believe that Emperor Hadrian
was homosexual! Lots of it. However in your anal, pedantic, obstinate style, you could go to a history forum and
argue that there is no "indisputable evidence" of such.
They might ask the same question what would constitute "Hard" evidence?
Let's lighten it up a little ,what would do it, indisputably for you?
An authenticated portrait of Hadrian and Lover (Lol! apologies) in the act?
A detailed entry in Hadrian's personal diary declaring and describing his love making activity?
I suggest that if this was a real history forum thread, and you had ignorantly, or inadvertently claimed he was heterosexual
it is likely you would come back with anal pedantic rubbish like...... how do we know the diary wasn't a forgery?, or he was blackmailed into
writing it, or how do we know that portrait is in the likeness of Hadrian?, is there any evidence of penetration!?
YOU cannot or have not described how you would validate indisputably how a rock carving can be indisputably attributed by what ever you
mean by "hard evidence".
OTHERS have given YOU the courtesy that you seem not to have shown in these threads.
That is to consider or try to ponder what the hell you are on about!???????????
IN your scenario the only possible way that Romans didn't carve the columns. was
that there was a massive!!!!!! temple built on the site of Mons Claudianus.
Now Thanos showed you pictures of similar columns from Turkey Greece Lebanon and many other places
They are identical in style in every way!
For you hypothesis to hold then this unknown unrecorded people, would have had to either make that
"Temple" even MORE MASSIVE!, unbelievably unsurpassed massive!, and then Romans distribute the columns all around their empire or
this unknown people had a penchant for building Temples on the site of quarries.
No civilization NONE even Rome's enemies ever drawn attention to or mentioned all these Unknown peoples temples with
that impossible to carve hard rock stuff ! NONE! The Persians didn't find them ... the Egyptianss didn't even find them
Now for at least the tenth time..... what evidence would be indisputable for you
so that you can cut the rubbish and maybe restore some reputation here and say OK
I got that one WRONG!
