On one of the GHMB boards I recently posted that we have to consider the possibility that there is only one intelligent, technologically advanced life-form in the Universe, and that is us Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
Let’s face it; somebody has to be the first intelligent, technologically advanced life-form in the Universe – why can’t it be us?
I am aware of the Drake Equation (a.k.a. the Greenbank Formula), hence the question.
I posted also how a team of exobiologists working with an artist created an example of what an ET far more intelligent than us could look like.
It looked much like a highly magnified insect, and very scarily so.

Sorry, Audrey, I do not, indeed cannot, agree with this viewpoint of yours.

Audrey, please cite the posts in which I have ‘gone ballistic’ (as you put it) over the mention of lasers, etc., in relation to the pyramids.

No, Audrey, I am simply poking harmless fun at the Ancient Astronaut theory by describing it as being about ‘Little Green Men from Atlantis Who Worshipped a God called Erich von Daniken.’
If you want to see this as ridicule (i.e. Language or behaviour intended to mock or humiliate. The act of deriding or treating with contempt) then that is entirely your choice
