I read a few responses and pondered your query again, and in taking a hold of "The application of a technique", I guess their advanced math would be a technology. In all that you mention - and not mention - of "engineering, manufacturing, production, construction, industry.", a goodly amount of math is involved, especially considering what so many folk have found according to the plans of constructions.
Would it be safe to assume that the height of precision math was during the 4th dynasty?
But sheesh...we don't really have anything they used to equate to such precise math...no 'tools' whatsoever.
I might have to rethink that one; cheers.
