My obviously naive question is, "who said it was ok to write the name Ramses in six different ways" in the first place? How do we know for sure all those names refer to the exact same person?
To expose my ignorance even further, how do we know for sure that all of those versions of the name are really even referring to a human being vs. some other inanimate, proper noun representation?
